House Rules
Soundbar 77 – Gütersloh
Last updated: 31 October 2026
Welcome to Soundbar 77! We want our guests, artists and staff to feel comfortable and safe. Please observe the following rules.
1. Respectful Behaviour
Treat other guests, artists and staff respectfully. Violence, threats, sexual harassment, discriminatory remarks and other serious harassment will not be tolerated.
If you feel threatened or unsafe, contact a member of staff immediately. We take your concerns seriously.
2. Admission and Protection of Minors
Statutory rules protecting minors and any age requirements announced in advance for the particular event apply.
Suitable official identification may be requested to verify age. A customer account, table reservation or accompanying person does not override statutory admission restrictions.
Admission may be restricted when the permitted capacity is reached or where there are specific safety concerns. Decisions are made on objective grounds and in accordance with anti-discrimination law. Existing contractual rights remain unaffected.
3. Alcohol and Other Substances
Alcohol is supplied and consumed in accordance with applicable law. Alcohol must not be passed to others in breach of rules protecting minors.
No further alcohol will be served to visibly intoxicated people. A person’s visit may be ended where serious impairment creates a safety risk.
Dealing in or consuming illegal substances is prohibited. Cannabis consumption is also prohibited on our premises.
4. Smoking, Vaping and Shishas
Statutory smoking bans and regulatory requirements must be observed. In particular, smoking tobacco products is prohibited indoors.
Vapes, electronic cigarettes and shishas may be used only where and in the manner permitted by law and expressly authorised by the venue. Designating an area does not override a statutory prohibition.
Where shishas are offered, only staff may position or fill them or handle charcoal and heating materials. Guests must not bring their own charcoal or fuel or make unauthorised modifications.
If you experience dizziness, headaches or nausea, notify staff immediately and move into fresh air where it is safe to do so.
5. Safety and Emergencies
Escape routes, emergency exits, stairs and access to fire extinguishers must remain clear. Safety equipment must not be tampered with.
Weapons, dangerous objects and fireworks must not be brought onto the premises. Lawful exceptions for persons performing official duties remain unaffected.
During an alarm or evacuation, follow instructions from staff and emergency services. Report accidents, hazards and damaged equipment immediately.
6. Stage, Equipment and Furnishings
Permission is required to enter the stage, DJ area, staff side of the bar, operational rooms or technical areas.
Microphones, instruments and lighting or sound equipment may be used only with authorisation. Do not place drinks on equipment or move furniture without consulting staff.
7. Food and Drinks
Food and drinks brought from outside may generally be consumed only by prior arrangement. We reasonably accommodate medically necessary food and comparable legitimate needs.
Please tell staff about allergies or intolerances before ordering. Allergen information is available from staff or in the information provided.
8. Photographs and Recordings
Respect other people’s privacy. Deliberately photographing or recording other guests and publishing such material requires the necessary authorisation or consent.
Photography and video or audio recording are prohibited in toilets and similarly private areas.
Professional photography, livestreams and recordings of performances require prior coordination with the venue and the necessary rights from those involved.
Entering Soundbar 77 does not constitute blanket consent to promotional recordings or their publication.
9. Consideration for Neighbours
Be considerate outside the entrance, in outdoor areas and when leaving. Avoid shouting, unnecessary use of vehicle horns and other avoidable disturbances.
Keep pavements and driveways clear. Dispose of litter and cigarette ends in the designated containers.
10. Personal Belongings and Damage
Look after your personal belongings. Hand found items to staff.
Report damage promptly. Liability for damage or lost belongings is governed by statutory provisions. These rules do not impose a blanket exclusion of liability.
11. Enforcement
Management and its authorised representatives exercise the venue’s right to control access and conduct. Follow objectively justified instructions concerning safety and orderly operation.
Depending on the seriousness of a breach, measures may include a warning, removal from the premises or a proportionate ban. Immediate action may be necessary where there is an urgent danger.
Any payment, refund or compensation claims are governed by applicable law and valid agreements. Removal does not automatically extinguish all rights to a refund.
